RallyRoster is built as a client-side utility application designed to run locally inside your device’s web browser. Because we operate without account creation systems or external user databases:
- Match & Player Data: Any player names, court numbers, or match scores you enter into our schedulers are stored directly inside your local web browser session using
sessionStorage. - No Data Retention: This data remains entirely on your physical machine. It is never transmitted, uploaded, or exposed to external servers managed by RallyRoster. Closing your web browser tab clears temporary storage logs securely.
We do not collect, request, store, or sell any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as email addresses, phone numbers, names, or locations.
2. Web Analytics Tracking
To help us measure platform traffic, optimize device responsiveness, and diagnose client-side layout issues, we integrate a privacy-respecting website analytics tool provided by Umami Analytics.
This tracking framework satisfies strict global data protection rules by operating under the following parameters:
- No Persistent Identity Tracking: The platform explicitly strips out and anonymizes network data. It does not compile permanent user identities or record cross-website browsing traits.
- Cookie-less Architecture: It operates entirely without planting invasive tracker cookies on your machine, meaning it will not target external ads toward you later.
- Logged Metrics: Data captured is strictly limited to broad aggregate trends: browser types, operating systems (iOS/Android ratios), referring page roots, country origins, and target scheduling buttons clicked.
